OSLO,  Norway – October 15, 2026 – Promon, whose Runtime Intelligence Platform protects more than 2 billion app installs worldwide, today announced the appointment of Tom Pepitone as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). Pepitone will lead Promon's global sales organization across direct and alliance-sourced channels, with a mandate to scale the company's growth with banks, payment providers, gaming and media companies, and other regulated and security critical enterprises.

Pepitone is a proved enterprise sales leader with deep experience building and scaling high-performing sales organizations in the security and software markets. He has led global go-to-market teams through periods of rapid growth, and he worked with Promon CEO Daniel Kollberg earlier in his career.

"Regulation and AI-driven attacks have made what happens inside the app a board-level issue," said Daniel Kollberg, CEO of Promon. "Tom has built and scaled revenue teams in exactly this kind of market, and he knows our industry from the inside. He's the right leader to turn the demand we're seeing into durable global growth."

Promon's Runtime Intelligence Platform is built around outcomes, not features. It works inside the app, where attacks happen, in a continuous loop: it protects the app, collects threat signals from across its installed base, analyzes attacks and adapts defenses in real time. For customers, that can mean reduced fraud losses and account takeovers, with attacks stopped before they reach backend systems. Their fraud and security teams get intelligence they can act on, and compliance teams get documented evidence of app resilience for regulators and auditors. All of this ships without slowing down development teams.

The appointment comes as financial institutions and other regulated businesses face rising pressure to prove that their apps can be trusted. Regulations including DORA, PSD2 and the forthcoming PSD3, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act are are increasing expectations around operational resilience, software security, and evidence of effective controls. At the same time, attackers are using AI to reverse engineer and tamper with apps faster than ever.

"Security leaders don't want another tool. They want proof their apps can be trusted in hostile environments, and evidence they can show their regulators," said Pepitone. "That's what Promon delivers. I'm joining to scale a team and a partner ecosystem that can do that globally."

Pepitone will be based in Amsterdam. He joined Promon's executive leadership team on October 1st 2026.
