Does Promon Control replace Shield for Mobile?
No. It is an add-on configuration management layer that works on top of Shield for Mobile. Control requires Shield to be deployed. Shield remains the runtime enforcement agent inside the app. Control gives teams the policy layer to tune what Shield enforces after deployment.
Do we need to rebuild or resubmit our app to use Control?
No. Policy updates, protection rules, and configuration changes pushed through Control reach your install base without any app rebuild or app-store resubmission. Your security team act independently of your release cycle.
